Manchester United at Watford will be the final match of Saturday’s Premier League slate, and it’s a match as interesting as any this weekend, sans Liverpool at Tottenham Hotspur of course.
Javi Gracia’s side finished 14th last term, but they have started this season on fire. Last week, they knocked off Tottenham in a battle of perfect unbeaten teams, and they have also added an EFL Cup win to their four league wins on their 2018-19 season resume. For United, they are trying to right the ship after a tough start, which has them now sitting mid-table.
Let’s take a look at the team news for this one. Manchester United defender Luke Shaw is going through concussion protocol. There are reports indicating he could be ready in time for this match, as he seems to be progressing well from the head injury he suffered on international break, but we’re guessing that he won’t be risked for this match.
Elsewhere, defender Phil Jones is still unavailable while midfielder Marouane Fellaini faces a late fitness test due to back issues. Forward Marcus Rashford will be gone, serving the first of his three game suspension due to his head-butting Burnley’s Phil Bardsley
For Watford, Gerard Deulofeu could feature, but both Younes Kaboul and Tom Cleverley are still out of commission.
Kick-off: 5:30 pm (BST), Saturday 15, Sept
Odds via Betway: United 22/23 Draw 27/10 Watford 7/2
Prediction: United 1, Watford 1
