This year’s Manchester Derby, Old Trafford edition, will be huge for both sides. Manchester City badly needs this game to keep their Premier League title hopes alive. And David Moyes badly needs to redeem himself from the last PL match at home- the 3-nil disaster versus their arch-nemesis Liverpool. A win for Moyes would definitely help quiet the critics.
United have been rather mediocre to “having issues” at home this season. Juxtaposed against their road performance- the Red Devils have the best away record in the Premier League. NBCSN presents the Manchester Derby tomorrow at 3:45 pm. ET on NBCSN. Coverage begins at 3 p.m. ET with Premier League Live.
Coverage on Wednesday, March 26, features Liverpool and Premier League scoring leader Luis Suarez (28 goals) v. Sunderland at 4 p.m. ET on NBCSN, preceded by Premier League Live at 3 p.m. ET. Lead Premier League play-by-play announcer Arlo White handles the call for both matches and is joined by former Chelsea defender Graeme Le Saux for Arsenal v. Manchester City and four-time league champion Lee Dixon for Liverpool v. Tottenham Hotspur.
NBCSN’s coverage on Saturday begins at 8 a.m. ET with Premier League Live immediately followed by Manchester United v. Aston Villa, with Crystal Palace v. first-place Chelsea at 11 a.m. ET.
