It will continue to be a very exciting summer transfer window at Manchester United, with plenty of comings and goings. Who will be the next to join Fred and Diogo Dalot as new arrivals this summer? Who will be heading out the Old Trafford door?
Let’s take a spin through the latest transfer rumors and gossip making the rounds on the internet today-
-Manchester United are one of many teams that have been linked to Real Madrid and Croatia midfielder Mateo Kovacic, but it’s West Ham United that are making the biggest push to acquire his signature.
That’s the story according to TuttoMercatoWeb, who write that Kovacic is ready to leave the reigning three time European champions. The 24-year-old might end up part of the very ambitious rebuilding project currently being undertaken by new manager Manuel Pellegrini.
-It’s been said since the spring/late winter that United defenders Matteo Darmian and Daley Blind will be out the exit door this summer, but here we are in July and neither one have moved, nor is there much talk about where they could go.
Darmian and Blind have both been linked with transfers to Italian clubs over the course of the past couple months, but right now there doesn’t seem to be much going on in either situation.
Why? Well, ESPN FC report that United “are open to selling. but will not sell for cheap.”
-Lastly, we cover Mourinho’s long sought after former player, Chelsea winger Willian.
Sky Sports News are covering this transfer narrative today, and they report that it’s Barcelona, and not United, who are currently in talks with Stamford Bridge over a potential deal for the Brazilian.
