It will continue to be a very exciting summer transfer window at Manchester United, with plenty of comings and goings. Who will be the next to join Fred and Diogo Dalot as new arrivals this summer? Who will be heading out the Old Trafford door?

Let’s take a spin through the latest transfer rumors and gossip making the rounds on the internet today.

-We start where else but with Gareth Bale, a very popular topic today in the Man United online space. His former Tottenham Hotspur teammate and United States international Jermain Defoe has urged him to move to the Premier League.

Bale has persistently been linked to United in recent years, and it’s no secret that Old Trafford would love to make that hypothetical a reality this summer. However, the price will be very steep. It could be north of £10 million more than what United paid for Paul Pogba in 2016, and that was a world record at the time.

This is according to the Manchester Evening News, who say that United will splash the cash, to the tune of £100 million, for the Welshman, if given the chance.

-The Daily Express reports that Jose Mourinho is making progress on getting those funds for Bale allocated from the board.

-Arsenal are winning the race to acquire the signature of highly-rated Sunderland teenager Sam Greenwood, according to ESPN FC. Greenwood, 16, is on the radar of several top European clubs, including Manchester United and Stuttgart, the ESPN article claims.

Well, maybe not for Willian, or at least not right now as United might have to pay more than they expected to land the Brazilian. Stamford Bridge rejected a £50 million offer for the winger from FC Barcelona, according to the Daily Mail.

Thus, United are content to wait in the wings for the time being. Barca are looking to add depth and quality in attack, and this week was a certainly a good week to be the Catalan club, as Forbes revealed the Spanish double winners to be the top club in the entire world when it comes to sponsorship income.

United came in second, further driving home the point that it’s really good to be Willian right now, as he has two of the the world’s biggest clubs pursuing him.
