It continues to be a very exciting summer at Manchester United, with a whole lot going on. While we still have a bit of time until the preseason exhibition games begin, there is no shortage of topics to discuss today.

Quite a few Manchester United supporters are ecstatic about the latest tweet from forward Anthony Martial.
The Frenchman was linked with a move away to several clubs this summer as his agent publicly declared his client’s desire to leave.

-A very high number of Manchester United senior team players are either
a.) still participating in the World Cup in Russia or
b.) currently on holiday after putting in an extended tour of international duty during the tournament.
Thus manager Jose Mourinho has had to call on a large contingent of youth team players this week, during the first few days of training camp. Those youngsters are set to join the team on the USA preseason exhibition tour, where they will see some sernior team playing time in the friendlies.
According to ESPN FC: “Demetri Mitchell, RoShaun Williams, James Garner, Ethan Hamilton, Tahith Chong, Angel Gomes and Mason Greenwood have spent the week training with returning first-team regulars such as Chris Smalling and Juan Mata and are in line to be included in the squad that jets off to Los Angeles on Sunday.”
