It’s the summer, and since there’s no action (at least matches that count) on the pitch, it’s time to talk off the pitch transactions. (Potential transactions actually) The Angel Di Maria storyline is starting to become like the David de Gea and Sergio Ramos transfer sagas; it just keeps going and going.
The most expensive signing in British history, who cost Manchester United £59.7 million, it still set to join his current team on July 25th. Yes, rumors are running wild that Di Maria has played his last game for United and joined Paris St. Germain, but we still don’t have confirmation on that.
Today’s developments make it seem like the signs are now pointing towards Di Maria coming to PSG. There’s starting to manifest some momentum in that direction now.

Louis van Gaal has said that Angel Di Maria will fly out to join Manchester United’s preseason tour on Saturday, despite the uncertainty about his future. Van Gaal himself has been ambiguous about Di Maria’s future,
There have been conflicting reports today on whether or not the two sides have reached an agreement. So who knows what to believe at this point. The two clubs will meet in a preseason friendly one week from today in Chicago. It was announced today that the match has sold out; but I wouldn’t expect Di Maria to play for either side in that one.
Robson has a very good point though; why is United allowing this to drag out?
