Here are the latest David de Gea news stories and transfer rumors circulating in the Twitterverse, blogosphere, cyberspace and media world. His contract situation is the top story in every A Block of Manchester United news everywhere. He hasn’t just been man of the match for the Red Devils this year, he’s been the Man of the season.

He’s been the MVP of MVPs, saving Manchester United Football Club, both literally and figuratively, on many occasions.

The contests versus Arsenal, Liverpool, Everton, West Ham come to mind first, but it’s been #DaveSaves all season long.

-According to The Sun, “Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea insists he will stay at the club despite reported interest from Real Madrid.” The London based newspaper reported a few days ago that Ed Woowdward was prepared to lock him up with a figure of £36 million.

-The take from the Daily Express reads “Real Madrid are prepared to break the goalkeeping transfer record of £33 million to sign Manchester United’s David De Gea.”

-The Daily Star supposedly has a quote from De Gea, in which he says he is very settled at United and has no doubts that he will stay. Then finally, we have this David de Gea story from the BBC:

Manchester United are ‘relaxed’ about David de Gea’s contract and are confident he will renew. [BBCSport] #MUFC
