Javier Hernandez, better known as Chicharito, scored twice to lead Manchester United into the quarterfinals of the Capital One Cup.
Chicharito led United to a 4-0 victory over Norwich at Old Trafford. No doubt he was the man of the match in this one. Although the shut out was impressive. Solid goaltending and offense, to complement the attack.
It wasn’t the first time Chicharito was the star this week. The young Mexican international came off the bench to help secure a dramatic 3-2 win over Stoke during the weekend.
Winning this tournament might help take the heat off Red Devils Manager David Moyes. The first year heir to Sir Alex Ferguson has gotten off to a rough start, but it looks like he made the right move in bringing Chicharito to the starting XI.
The photogenic young striker has delivered well for his side in the last two matches. Maybe he’ll keep this momentum going in the quarters and beyond. Would give the season a much needed lift.
