Angel Di Maria suffered an injury in Manchester United’s 3-nil win over Hull City at Old Trafford Tuesday, and it threw a massive scare into Louis van Gaal’s side and their supporters. As if they weren’t enough injuries at Manchester United already. (There have been over 39 official injuries since Van Gaal took over the Red Devils).
Di Maria has an injury to his hamstring and Louis van Gaal has ruled him out of Tuesday’s match versus Stoke City. Wayne Rooney limped off the pitch towards the end as well, so is he okay?
“Angel shall be out for Stoke, I think,” said van Gaal. “Wayne, I don’t know. He said he would be fit for Stoke. I hope he is because he is in great form.”
Being without one of their big money components of their attack would be a very big setback. Missing both? That would be a tremendous difficulty to overcome. Hopefully, Di Maria won’t be out too long.
