Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar, the world’s all time most expensive player, was asked to make his Premier League title and top four predictions. The Brazilian forward got a little outside the box with his top four picks, as he left out the team with the current second most favorable odds and picked the team with only the fifth best odds to finish runners-up.
Neymar was back in Barcelona to participate in a PokerStars European Poker Tour event, and he was asked by the Daily Express who he thinks will lift the trophy in the end; (and who will qualify for UEFA Champions League too).
“Who will win it? Woah that’s difficult,” he said. “It’s very hard, very difficult, but Manchester City will win it.”
“Second will be United, third is Chelsea. Fourth is Tottenham.”
Given the chance to change his prognostications and include current league leaders/trendy pick to win it all Liverpool, he didn’t budge one iota.
“No Liverpool,” he added.
This forecast will certainly be music to the ears of United fans everywhere- picking a Red Devils team that’s off to a very rough start to finish really high. And he projected United’s bitter arch-rivals, who are flying so high right now, to miss out on Europe entirely.
His league champions pick is pretty conventional though.
