When Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah moved from AS Roma to Liverpool this summer, even the biggest of optimists could not have expected him to have a season this exceptional! Salah, nicknamed the Pharaoh, is right up there with Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane as co-front runners to win the Golden Boot Award this campaign.
Mohamed Salah has promised a trophy this season at Liverpool, and and repeatedly said that he came to Anfield in order to win big trophies. The way he’s performing right now, if his fine form catches on to his teammates, it won’t be long before it happens.
This week finds Salah, again, ahead of Kane in NBC Sports’ Individual player power rankings. It’s a list based on who’s excelling to the highest degree right now; the top ten are below.
