The Liverpool-Hull City Premier League match tomorrow (Saturday, October 25) at 10 a.m. ET will move to NBCSN, while the Sunderland-Arsenal match that was originally scheduled on NBCSN will be shown live on the Premier League Extra Time bonus TV package. Sunderland-Arsenal will air in Spanish on mun2 as previously scheduled.
NBC Sports Group moved the Liverpool-Hull City match to NBCSN following a week in which Liverpool and their striker Mario Balotelli generated headlines all across international football media outlets. Those “headlines” would be the bush league style “shirt swap” he did right before halftime of the blowout loss to Real Madrid in the Champions League.
The other, and much more serious headline revolves around Balotelli allegedly threatening a Manchester woman because she took pictures of his Ferrari. Police are investigating this complaint. Obviously, problems, off-the-pitch issues, and other drama have surrounded Mario Balotelli his whole career. It wasn’t a matter of if, but when this happened again with Balotelli in Liverpool.
Is it already time to label the Balotelli signing as a total flop. That’s a conversation we had here.
