Who has it better, on a individual level, in world football than Mohamed Salah right now?
Not many; as the Liverpool FC and Egypt star has been on a tremendous roll lately. His form the past two months has been beyond elite, and his first season at Liverpool has greatly exceeded even the most optimistic of expectations. Salah has 23 goals and eight assists across 29 games for Liverpool since he arrived from AS Roma this past summer transfer window.
Liverpool Manager Jurgen Klopp believes that he could still get even better too.
It’s easy to see why many supporters have nicknamed the Egyptian international “The Pharaoh.”
On Thursday it was announced that his heroics on the pitch have earned him the 2017 African player of the year award.
To win the honor, Salah beat out the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Borussia Dortmund/Gabon) and his teammate at Anfield Sadio Mane (Senegal).
Congratulations to the high flying 25-year-old winger; whose accolades are being acknowledged all across global football Twitter today by some of the most influential accounts.
