Liverpool FC vs Leicester City Starting XI Predictions

Saturday sees Brendan Rodgers make his first return to Liverpool since being sacked by the club four years ago when his Leicester City side visits the Reds.

It’s going be the blockbuster fixture of the weekend, as the Foxes currently sit third in the table and find themselves with favorable odds (Sky Bet has 7/2) on a top four finish finish.

This is definitely the year for non-big six sides to make their move and get back into Europe by placing themselves in the top four.

Manchester United are totally adrift and rudderless. Tottenham Hotspur look an awful mess right now and Chelsea are rebuilding through youth. As for Arsenal, one can certainly question how much progress they have made in their rebuild so far. You could easily see not one, but two teams from outside the big six get in the dance this year.

As for the hosts, they have won all seven games this season, stretching their Premier League winning streak to 16.

If they can win this fixture, and the next one after the international break, they will tie Manchester City’s record of 18.
