Week four of the Premier League commences with top of the table Liverpool visiting 7th place Leicester City. With no true headliner fixture this weekend, this clash is about as highly anticipated as any on the docket. Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson has lived up to the hype and his price tag thus far, as the Reds have yet to concede a goal this season.
They come in with wins over West Ham United, Crystal Palace and Brighton & Hove Albion. Leicester enter the match having lost to Manchester United (a defeat that is not aging well), but beaten Southampton and Wolverhampton.
Let’s take a look at who will be unavailable for this one.
Starting with Leicester, their main man Jamie Vardy will serve the second match of a three-game suspension after he was shown a red card against Wolves. Matty James remains out long-term due to his Achilles injury. New signing Caglar Soyuncu is yet to make his Foxes debut, and he’s not fully fit enough to feature in this one.
Flipping to the other sideline, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain remains out for the entire campaign due to multiple ligament injuries, while Dejan Lovren is a doubt, due to an issue that has been described as pelvic in nature. LFC boss Jurgen Klopp has said the Croatian international is more likely to return after the international break.
