Before you go ahead and place a bet on a football game, it is highly recommended that you take the time to do some research so that you can improve your chances of winning whatever wager you place – although, keep in mind that a win is never guaranteed when you are betting no matter how much research you do. Alternatively, you can look for predictions that have been written by experts, who are often football fans that have invested a lot of time into the sport. However, at Betiton™, you can find predictions given by Djibril Cissé, the former Liverpool and France player. Read on to find out more.
How Did Betiton™ and Djibril Cissé Come to Work Together?
If you want to know why it was that Cissé joined Betiton™, then read on as we are about to satisfy your curiosity. This partnership came into being because the founders of Betiton™ had been looking for a noticeable player to be their ambassador, but they did not just want any old player – they wanted someone that would help them to stand out from the crowd, which is really important in such a competitive industry. More precisely, they were looking for a player who had played football at a high level and has a great character and plenty of determination.
Cissé, it is fair to say, has both of these traits in abundance, which is why Arnaud Serour, the Betiton™ CEO, opted to contact the former France and Liverpool player to see if he wanted to work alongside them, and he was more than happy to accept the offer. One of the reasons why he wanted to work with a company such as Betiton™ is because they have as much determination as he has to succeed and they also have a really strong character, which is needed in the gambling world.
Cissé has always tried to give his best when out on the field, no matter who he was playing for, and Betiton™ are always looking to give their best to their customers in the iGaming world whenever they can. Other than that, luck had it that both Serour and Cissé hailed from the same area of France and supported the same football team, Olympique de Marseille. So, you could actually say that this was a match that was meant to be.
A Brief Biography of Djibril Cissé
Djibril Cissé is a striker who used to play for the French national team. He started his footballing career in 1989 at AC Arles at eight-years-old, and after he spent seven years at this club, he moved to Nîmes Olympique, where he ended up spending six months. He then signed for AJ Auxerre, and spent two years in their youth system before he made his first appearance for the senior team in 1998. He played here for six seasons, making 166 appearances and scoring 90 goals, and his form saw him sign for Liverpool in 2004.
During the time that he spent at Anfield, he played 79 matches and scored 24 goals, helping Liverpool to the UEFA Champions League in 2004/05 and the FA Cup in 2005/06. Once his time at Liverpool came to an end, he went on to have spells with Panathinaikos in Greece, S.S Lazio in Italy, Al-Gharafa in Qatar, and Kuban Krasnodar in Russia. He also played for Queens Park Rangers and Sunderland in England, and SC Bastia and Olympique de Marseille in France.
Overall, he has scored 205 goals in his professional career from 452 matches, but what makes this achievement all the more special is the fact that he suffered two leg breaks. He broke his left leg in 2004 and if it were not for some quick intervention from the medics in attendance that day, he would have lost it below the knee. It was predicted that he would be out of the game for up to 18 months, but he made use of that aforementioned determination and strong character to be back out on the pitch around six months later. Then, in 2006, he broke his right leg, but thankfully this break was not as bad as his first one.
Cissé played for France on 41 occasions and during this time he played at the FIFA World Cup in 2002 and 2010. However, these World Cups were two to forget for France as they finished bottom of their group with a solitary point and were eliminated. However, it must be noted that France’s failure in the 2002 World Cup had little to do with Cissé, as he was a youngster and only played for a total of 60 minutes across all three group games. In those matches, he gave a really good account of himself and showed the world the talent that he possessed. He did have some success with the France national team as he was part of the team that won the 2003 FIFA Confederations Cup.
