Here we go- less than a month now until the January transfer window opens. We have some Liverpool FC transfer rumors to discuss with you on this fine Thursday afternoon.
If Liverpool want to acquire Borussia Dortmund teenager Christian Pulisic, they are wasting their time, says BVB sporting director Michael Zorc.
Zorc warns the Reds to back off their ambitions for the 18-year-old American international, as he told Bild: “It’s not worth the effort for Liverpool.”
Pulisic joined BVB back in 2015 when current Liverpool Manager Jurgen Klopp was still in charge at Dortmund.
Sources told ESPN FC “in the summer that Liverpool may pursue a deal for Pulisic in the future despite having seen a bid of €13 million (£11.1m at the time) rejected.”
Pulisic, who is concerned about having regular first team football under Thomas Tuchel, has two goals and six assists in his 14 total appearances this season.
The Daily Mail published a report that Liverpool are stepping up Pulisic pursuit now this week, in the wake of the long term injury to star player Philippe Coutinho. The Mail writes:
“Pulisic is versatile as he can play on either wing or through the middle behind the striker, though it is understood it would take close to £25 million for Dortmund to even consider selling.”
