Manchester United have done it again- coming from 1-0 behind to achieve a 2-1 road win. That’s how it went down this past Saturday at AFC Bournemouth in Premier League play and again tonight in UEFA Champions League competition at Juventus.
After the match, United manager Jose Mourinho taunted the Turin crowd with the old “I’m cupping my ear so I can (in this case not) hear you” move. Have a watch below:

It’s pretty similar to a gesture WWE wrestling superstar Hulk Hogan used to do all the time, and at least one other person who uses social media picked up on that:

Juventus star Leonardo Bonucci didn’t care for what Mourinho did there and it wasn’t long before he was in the Portugese’ face jawing at him. United captain Ashley Young quickly came to Mourinho’s defense.

Mourinho explained this celebration thusly after the game: “I was insulted 90 minutes and I’m just here doing my work. I was insulted, my family was insulted, and I did the gesture meaning I wanted to hear more songs now.”
So apparently, Mourinho is going with the ‘well, they started it’ defense. The home fans were not the only target Mourinho took aim at in postgame. The day began with notice that the FA will appeal their ruling against Mourinho, who days earlier escaped sanctioning for an incident versus Newcastle United at the beginning of October.

Mourinho: “Do you understand Italian?”
Reporter: “No.”
Mourinho: “Ask the FA, they will translate for you.”
