Fierce North London derby on Sunday as fifth-place Tottenham Hotspur take on third-place Arsenal at noon ET.
Lead Premier League play-by-play announcer Arlo White is joined by former Chelsea defender Graeme Le Saux on the call.
Le Saux also joins legendary U.K. footballer and BBC Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker at White Hart Lane for NBCSN’s all-day live on-site Premier League Live studio coverage beginning at 8:30 a.m. ET. So with Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Chelsea, there’s a whole lot of London going on in this matchup. The telecast follows sixth-place Manchester United, nine points out of the Champions League-qualifying top four, host second-place Liverpool and Premier League scoring leader Luis Suarez (24 goals). English soccer commentator Steve Bower is joined by Everton and U.S. Men’s National Team goalkeeper Tim Howard on the call.
Back to Spurs, my God didn’t they look like a totally rubbish side in the 4-0 rout at the hands of Chelsea this past Saturday. You can understand why Tottenham Manager Tim Sherwood through his team under the bus and called them out afterward. Was he correct in his assessment? Probably. Was he right to insult his Tottenham Hotspur team in front of the media like that? No, not really.
