Blues supporters all over the world are buzzing as Eden Hazard bagged a hat trick, and Chelsea went top of the table on Saturday with a 4-1 win over Cardiff City. Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri said he believes the Belgian could bag 40 goals this campaign, and given how elite his form looks these days, who could blame the Italian for speaking in such hyperbolic terms.
Hazard scored in the 37′ and 44′ today, and after bagging a brace from open play, completed the triple with a penalty kick in the 80′. Chelsea and Liverpool are now the only two teams to have won their first five games, with the Blues ahead of the Reds on goal differential by one.
Eden Hazard has now scored more Premier League hat-tricks (2) than Cristiano Ronaldo (1).

The Blues are back in action on Thursday, beginning their European campaign with a UEFA Europa League group stage game against PAOK. They will then take on West Ham United in league play next Sunday.
But for now, let’s take a look at some of the more noteworthy reactions on Twitter to today’s Eden Hazard and Chelsea developments.
Strong take here-
There’ll be so many reactionary fans opinions on this platform after every game but the fact is Eden Hazard and David De Gea are the best in the Premier League. The rest of the players keep changing positions on the rank.

An interesting stat-
37 – Eden Hazard has scored in more home Premier League games without ending on the losing side than any other player in the history of the competition (37 – W34 D3 L0). Charm. pic.twitter.com/fIjWJN7gOs

Interesting take here:
Chelsea sacked Antonio Conte and went for a good coach, not a big name. Unlike those guys on the losing side of Machester who needed a good coach but went for a big name that has past his prime. It's like buying a second hand, Lagos used Range Rover instead of a brand new Toyota

It really looks like Sarri is working his magic at Stamford Bridge.

Hazard was superb today. Forget all the stats, the main thing for me was the sense I got that this is a Chelsea player who feels truly at home at Stamford Bridge. It's his stage & he loves it. Long may it continue. #CHECAR pic.twitter.com/KtCL1MPIc2
