Chelsea FC certainly have cemented their top four contender bonafides this season, but it remains to be seen if they’ll stay in league title contention this term. It’s the first season under new manager Maurizio Sarri, and thus expectations weren’t that sky high coming into the campaign.
Thus far, Sarri has turned in a manager of the year level performance as he has Chelsea far exceeding preseason expectations. Currently sitting third, the Blues are seven points adrift the top of the table, but they’ll face a side in Wolverhampton Wanderers who haven’t won a league game in almost two months. Thus, anything short of all three points in the midweek road clash would be a major disappointment for the Blues.
Let’s take a look who Sarri could select in his first team on Wednesday night.
