Chelsea FC host Manchester United tomorrow in a big time Premier League crunch clash. This fixture is the weekend headliner, and it follows eye-catching match-up, Arsenal versus Manchester City. Chelsea are dealing with several fitness concerns in this one, as a cadre of key players are match doubts.
Among the doubts are midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko (groin), central defender David Luiz (thigh), winger Eden Hazard (achilles), and central midfielder N’Golo Kanté.
That last name is the most key, and he’s the one who has received the most media coverage.
He has returned to training with the first team, so it appears he just might be ready to feature tomorrow. At least there have been some reports out there claiming he’ll be back. So without further ado here is The Sports Bank’s Chelsea FC Starting XI for the upcoming game against Manchester United:
Goalkeeper: Thibaut Courtois
Defenders: Cesar Azpilicueta (RB), David Luiz (CB), Gary Cahill (LB)
Midfielders: Marcos Alonso (WB), N’Golo Kante (CM), Danny Drinkwater (CM), Davide Zappacosta (WB)
Forwards: Eden Hazard (LW), Alvaro Morata (ST), Pedro (RW)
