Arsenal FC are on fire right now, and numerous Gunners related terms are blowing up on social media as we speak. The north London side head into international break having won six in a row in Premier League play and nine consecutive across all competitions.
In utterly routing Fulham on Sunday 5-1, they temporarily moved up to third in the table, and with that, the words of forward Alex Iwobi ring true. They are, as of right now, in the Premier League title discussion, as they sit just one point of the pace of co-table toppers Manchester City and Liverpool.

“The team spirit is better,” Iwobi told reporters after the very convincing win.
“The confidence is definitely better. We analyze the games a bit more and we’re proving to the fans as well as ourselves that we’re able to compete for the title, but there’s a long way to go.”
“It’s a marathon, so we just have to carry on being consistent. …. We’re not afraid to play anyone. We’re playing without fear, we want to be consistent and keep it going.”
Arsenal got a brace from both Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang today, as well as a beauty of a goal from Aaron Ramsey. It was extremely aesthetically pleasing to see the teamwork and cohesion on display in that scoring strike. Have a look at that below:

In addition to the six league wins during the current hot streak, Alex Iwobi and company have a League Cup win over Brentford and Europa League wins over Qarabag FK and Vorskla. They return to action two weeks from tomorrow night with a league fixture against Leicester City.
