It’s another London derby in the Premier League this weekend. Honestly, I thought all the police in the capital were tied up with the Queen’s funeral this week. How this fixture is going ahead, well so many others do not, is a mystery to me.
By the time this match comes around it will be the Gunners’ first fixture in almost two weeks. For the opposition, it’ll be their first match in more than two weeks. With all the fixture cancellations, this will be the Bees first match since they defeated Leeds 5-2 back at the start of the month.
Brentford has a great history against the Gunners, having won five of their six league fixtures against them. That includes the memorable 2-0 victory on opening day of last season. Arsenal will be looking to avoid getting stung by the bees for the second season in a row.

Team News
Here Is the latest Arsenal injury news fresh from the horse’s mouth. And the horse I am talking about is Mikel Arteta. This metaphor is getting away from me. Anyways – here we go
Reiss Nelson
‘He felt something in training. We scanned it, and the doctor came with some bad news. It’s a muscular injury, and hopefully, he will be back soon.’
Thomas Partey
‘With Thomas, hopefully, we are talking weeks or even shorter than that, I hope.’
Mohamed Elneny
‘With Mo, it’s probably a little bit easier, and we are talking months.
Emile Smith Rowe
‘He felt discomfort in an area that [he’s been dealing with] now for a few weeks. He wasn’t comfortable after the [MUFC] game, and he hasn’t trained in the last few days, so he’s out of the squad.’
Stuey’s Two Cents
This one is slightly tricky to get an accurate read on. Neither side has played for a while, so their recent form counts for nothing. I would say this was a danger game if this was Arsenal of last season. I don’t see it that way with this current season’s side though.
