It’s a very fierce four way battle for the last two UEFA Champions League qualification slots, and right now it looks like Arsenal will lock down one of them. That is of course contingent on the Gunners’ vastly improving their away form. The north London side has won seven of their last nine, but at the same time they only have two wins in their last 11 across all competitions away from the Emirates.
Worse yet those two victories were against relegated Huddersfield Town and League One club Blackpool. On Sunday, they’ll venture to Everton and take on the Toffees in a Premier League fixture.
Let’s take a look at the fitness situation for both sides. With the hosts, it’s pretty simple as defender Yerry Mina is the only absentee (thigh injury). For the visitors, Hector Bellerin, Rob Holding and Danny Welbeck all remain out as long term injury absentees.
Additionally, Grant Xhaka (groin) and the Juventus bound Aaron Ramsey (thigh) face late fitness tests, but should be good to go. Laurent Koscielny (ankle) though is a doubt. Finally, midfielder Lucas Torreira will be gone due to a suspension.
