Arsenal FC came into the international break riding high, having won six in a row in Premier League competition. As league play resumes this weekend, the Gunners will have a major fitness boost, as several key players have returned to training/should return to training soon. In other words, the good vibes should at least continue, and possibly even ramp up.
The north London side are favored in the final match of the weekend, Monday night when they host Leicester City.
With more selection options available than he has seen in quite awhile, Arsenal boss Unai Emery will definitely have some decisions to make with his first team choices.
The Bank Arsenal FC Starting XI Prediction
Forwards: Alexandre Lacazette
Attacking Midfielders: Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang, Mesut Ozil, Alex Iwobi
Defensive Midfielders: Granit Xhaka, Lucas Torreira
Defenders: Nacho Monreal, Rob Holding, Shokdran Mustafi, Hector Bellerin
Goalkeeper: Bernd Leno
Other players that could be in contention for selection in this one include midfielder Ainsley Maitland-Niles (recovered from leg fracture suffered in season opening loss to Manchester City) and forward Danny Welbeck (should be in full recovery from hamstring issue that kept him out of international duty with England).
There are also couple of players that face late fitness tests (covered in the injury report/match preview), but we left them out of our predicted team.
