Jenny Dell may soon be known for something other than her split from NESN and its inextricable link to her relationship with future husband Will Middlebrooks.
Well, possibly, we’ll see if this new enterprise by CBS takes off. Dell is expected to be a part of a new all female sports talk show. It’s being billed as “The View” meets “Pardon the Interruption,” which is….quite the pitch.
The show might be a huge hit, but I hope for the sake of the network, and for Dell, if she is a part of it, that it’s better than that pitch sounds.
David Berson, President of CBS Sports, told TheBigLead.com, the still untitled show would include Jenny Dell, Lesley Visser, Dana Jacobson, CBS NFL analyst Amy Trask, and sideline reporters Allie LaForce and Tracy Wolfson. It has not been officially confirmed who will be on it. We don’t even know if it will include Jenny Dell or not.
Nor we do know anything about the format, or time slot, but Berson was quoted as saying it will be “a sports talk show featuring women; it’s not intended to be a women’s sports issue show.”
