ESPN’s Allison Williams is not the actress Allison Williams

Allison Williams began covering college sports for ESPNU in March of 2011 during the BIG EAST Women’s Championship. She’s currently the main sideline reporter for ESPN’s premier college football and college basketball games. She’s also very often confused for the other Allison Williams, the famous actress and daughter of Brian Williams the disgraced journalist.

Before joining ESPN she worked for both the Florida Panthers and the Florida Marlins.

She graduated from the University of Miami in 2006 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. Which would make her approximately 31-years-old. Her name trends quite a bit whenever she’s on television. Yesterday, she was back at Purdue to work another big game the Boilers were featured in on ESPN.

A lot of people in the media work room were talking about how much they admire her.

You’ll see the phrase Allison Williams show up over and over again in the search engine referral data quite often. She is originally from the state of Michigan.
