It’s just past midnight on the east coast, and we’re still here. Actually it’s been December 21, 2012 or 12-21-12 for quite some time already in the entire Eastern hemisphere. And nothing happened. Just like the May 21st, 2011 doomsday prophecy, remember that hoax?

But the truth is, the Mayans never predicted the end of the world. They sure as hell didn’t set a time. And their calendar didn’t even truly end.
