I can understand the issues surrounding whether or not Condoleezza Rice should be on the college football playoff selection committee. Other than being a real life version of that girl played by Hayden Panetierre in “Remember the Titans,” Condoleezza doesn’t really have any specific credentials or qualifications for being on the committee. And no, that’s not a credential or qualification.
However, there are much bigger issues with who was picked; way worse than Condoleezza Rice on the committee,
WTF do have active Athletic Directors on the board for? WTF?
On last night’s Olbermann, Condoleezza Rice talked with guest host Colin Cowherd about the criticism of her being selected to the College Football Playoff committee.
Olbermann airs at 1opm CDT on ESPN2.
Condoleezza Rice responded to former Auburn Coach Pat Dye’s criticism of her selection. The College Football Playoff committee also includes the Athletic Directors at USC, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Clemson, and Arkansas. So think about all the biases towards schools, conferences and against rival schools and rival conferences at work there!
Yikes! Way to be, college football. Way to be. Condoleezza Rice is the least of your worries.
