It is Friday!  That means a new version of The Sports Bank’s “Field of 65” in which David Kay goes back to school to study the bracketology of what the NCAA Tournament will look like come Selection Sunday.  Agree or disagree with any of the projections?  Leave a comment at the end and David will defend his position.

  1. paulmbanks says:

Damn Friday is really your day! You get all your stuff up then. Glad you kept Northwestern in, they won’t disappoint.

UNC sneaks in. and Wichita St. drops out…Brian??

  2. Northwestern is barely hanging on… I’ve giving them the benefit of the doubt with their softer schedule coming up… altho a loss to Sparty this weekend will likely drop them out next week… Big Ten in jeopardy of getting just 4 teams in if Minnestoa/NW/ILL don’t show some consistency in the next couple weeks…

  3. Oklahoma State and Texas A&M over Missouri in the B12? If you’re basing this on the loss at KU, you’re very short-sighted. Would be interested in your rationale…

  4. Ben- prior to this weekend (this bracketology was done Friday) I gave A&M the edge because of their SOS… 4 losses to top 20 teams, the other losses at OSU and against a then-unbeaten new Mexico team… plus two wins against top 20 teams…

Mizzou doesn’t have the best out of conference schedule… but obviously the win over OSU this weekend bumps them up… and win against A&M Wednesday will certainly be a statement as well… they beat the Aggies and they are definitely in next Bracketology…

    thanks for the comment

  5. WSU again…. gone, no longer respected. Ugh…. So if they win in Bracketbusters at Utah State a place where not even BYU could win, you’ll put them back in????
