Come on, where’s the Shockers. Wrong side of the bubble. There’s always
atleast 2 teams from the Valley in the Tournament

Wrong side of the bubble my foot.

Brian… did you go to Wichita State by any chance? I’ll say it again; Wichita State is not getting an at-large bid right now… yes, their record is impressive, but consider that 7 of their wins have come against teams with an RPI below 150 and they have not exactly been tested… Their best non-conference win is a two-point home win against a Texas Tech team that is 0-3 in the Big 12 so far… … so that win loses a lot of pull… unless Northern Iowa is upset in the MVC tournament, only one team from the conference is getting in this year…

UNI at WSU on Monday. If WSU wins then you will put them in, right. And remember, a win is a win.

ugh… a win is a win is one of my least favorite sports cliches ever and really is not the case when it comes to making the NCAA Tournament… if Wichita State beats Northern Iowa, maybe they make the next Field of 65… altho WSU’s loss to Creighton today puts them even farther behind… it will have to be a convincing win…

That’s right up there with “we just need to keep working hard, and it all starts in the next game” or “I’m just happy to be here- do whatever I can for the team”

Brian, I know you said last time that you’re not actually Wichita State’s Athletic Director, but I still believe that you are…and yes, that’s a compliment!

  8. Brian says

I mean WSU is behind 2 gms to UNI. If they beat UNI twice and not lose another conference game, then they win the MVC Regular Season. Remember, UNI won by 2 to Bradley, WSU beat them by 16. High note for the Shox. Go Jayhawks and Shockers. And paulmbanks, if I was WSU’s AD would be on here. The answer is no. And secondly, if I was WSU’s AD would I say this…. Rock Chalk Jayhawk, KU!!!!

  9. Brian says

    January 18, 2010 at 7:02 PM

No I wouldn’t have said that.

  10. Brian says

I mean I would be on here if I was WSU AD.

Ok, you’ve convinced me, I believe you now. And I applaud your zeal for the Shockers!! You are a true fan

WSU will win MVC Regular Season if they win they win the rest of their regular season games. Like beat UNI on the road and stuff like that. P.S. WSU is now 12-0 at the Roundhouse.
