Arsenal FC Starting XI Prediction vs Newcastle United

Arsenal will host Newcastle United Monday night in what will be the final match of the Premier League weekend. The Gunners will obviously know how their three main rivals (Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal) for the final two UCL qualifying positions all did this weekend prior to kickoff, so Unai Emery’s men will be aware what they need to do in order to remain in the top four.

Arsenal FC Starting XI Prediction vs Rennes (UEFA Europa League)


Arsenal FC really have their backs against the wall this week as they host Rennes in the second leg of their round of 16 tie down 3-1 on aggregate from last week. The Gunners recovered nicely to hand Ole Gunnar Solskjaer his first Premier League loss as Manchester United caretaker manager.

Arsenal are one of four teams fighting it out for the last two top four slots in the Premier League, so if that doesn’t get work out, they can still get back into Europe via the UEL route, but that’s not looking too good right now. Arsenal FC vs Rennes Injury Report: Lacazette, Koscielny, Siliki

Arsenal FC received a major lineup boost late Tuesday when they learned striker Alexandre Lacazette will be available for their crucial Europa League clash at home versus Rennes on Thursday night.

The Frenchman was due to miss the second leg of the last-16 tie due to a suspension, for his having been sent off against BATE Borisov in the previous round on Valentine’s Day. Arsenal have successfully appealed to UEFA, and gotten the suspension reduced from three games to two.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Believes Top Four Race Will Go Down to the End

Manchester United caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer suffered his first loss in Premier League competition tonight, 2-0 to Arsenal, meaning United now sit in fifth in the table, two points behind Arsenal in fourth.

This is the third time in 2019 that Arsenal and United have flipped over one another between fourth and fourth in the table in 2019. Third place Tottenham Hotspur are just one point ahead of Arsenal in the table and two ahead of the Red Devils. Don’t forget sixth place Chelsea, who are point behind United, and have a game in hand.

Arsenal Win Over Man United Sees Second Pitch Invader of the Day

Arsenal beat Manchester United at home tonight in a match that was absolutely critical in the race for the top four. The 2-0 result also marked the first loss in Premier League competition for United caretake manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but that’s not what people are talking about right now.

The Arsenal-United game saw a fan invade the pitch midway through the second half. It was also, amazingly, the second pitch invader of the day. Hopefully, this doesn’t become a trend.

Arsenal FC Starting XI Prediction vs Manchester United

The last time Manchester United visited Arsenal, the road team came in and beat the hosts 3-1, ousting them from the competition in the fourth round. Unai Emery’s men will look to better protect their home turf on Sunday, in a rematch that once again carries major significance.

Manchester United Starting XI Prediction at Arsenal FC

Manchester United caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer isn’t worried at all about an emotional let down from Wednesday night. United made Champions League history and overcame 16/1 odds to overturn a 2-0 deficit, and win at Paris Saint-Germain, and in the process advance through to the UCL quarterfinals.

“There will be no problem whatsoever,” Solskjaer said of getting his team amped for Sunday’s visit to Arsenal for a Premier League fixture. “We’ve gone through to the quarterfinals, which is what we expect from Man United.”

An absolutely crunch clash for the top four commences Sunday evening when Manchester United visits Arsenal for a Premier League fixture.
