Chelsea FC Starting XI Prediction vs Manchester City

Without a doubt, the headliner fixture of the weekend is Manchester City at Chelsea FC, a series in which none of the last 12 meetings have ended in a draw, surprisingly. And while Chelsea have won the last three, the advantage over that 12 results shows City with the advantage, 7-5.

Thomas Tuchel’s side are no doubt strong Premier League title contenders, in the eyes of most keen observers, but in order to become the champs this season, they’ll first have to beat the current champions.

Chelsea FC Team News vs Man City: Edouard Mendy, Christian Pulisic

At this point, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is probably in the head of Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola. After losing the first meeting to City in 2020-21, when Frank Lampard was still in charge, the Blues, with Tuchel at the helm, won the next three.

That said, the bookmakers seem to see this one was more even Steven, and not heavily favoring the London club. Both sides are priced at +165 to win, with a draw backed at +220.

Manchester City return to Premier League action after a triumphant outing in the EFL Cup. The reigning league champions beat Wycombe Wanderers 6-1 in midweek and now travel to London to take on Chelsea in a very important clash.

This will be the first meeting between the two teams since last season’s Champions League final. Having already lost three times to Thomas Tuchel, Pep Guardiola will really want to get one better of the German, for many reasons, this time around.

The eyes of the golfing world will be on Whistling Straits, Wisconsin, this weekend as the United States and Europe go head-to-head in the Ryder Cup.

David Moyes Gets First Over United Since They Sacked Him

It was also his first win against United since the club sacked him in April of 2014. A long undefeated run against the Hammers was finally brought undone as United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer rested almost all of his big names in this second match against the East-Londoners in four days.

Nuno Admits Tottenham Hotspur Have a Lot of Problems Right Now

“Mo Money, Mo Problems” by Puff Daddy might as well be the theme song for Tottenham Hotspur manager Nuno Espirito Santo right now. The Portugese made a big step up in club (and obviously, paygrade) this summer when he left Wolverhampton Wanderers and took the gig in north London.

Or perhaps the more fitting rap song for Nuno is Jay-Z’s “99 Problems” as the gaffer admits his side/club have a lot of problems, but Harry Kane isn’t one.
