Here we go again, unfortunately. Chelsea left wing Christian Pulisic is injured once more, this time in the warm-ups ahead of the Premier League fixture at Burnley FC. This is according to the hosts of “Premier League Morning” on NBC Sports, the pregame show ahead of today’s match.

Christian Pulisic, a 22-year-old American international who wears the No. 10, was slated to start the game, but he has since been replaced by Timo Werner. This change has been reflected in a tweet from the official Chelsea account.

Manchester United host Arsenal FC on Sunday in the Premier League weekend’s headliner fixture. There is some team news for the hosts as Alex Telles, the left back acquired from FC Porto at the tail end of the summer transfer window, has tested positive for COVID-19. Fortunately, he’s showing no symptoms and should be back before too long.

Manchester City will be traveling to Sheffield United on Saturday to continue their Premier League campaign and they might have an important defender back in the team.

City come into this game on the back of an impressive result in France. They went to Marseille in their Champions League group stage game and came away with a 3-0 win. You don’t need to remind Illinois Fighting Illini football fans of this, you just need to say the name Graham Mertz. However, since the Wisconsin OL effectively socially distanced him from the Illini defense a week ago tonight, well, no worries about getting coronavirus from the Sconnie freshman QB.

Mikel Arteta Has Advice for Nicolas Pepe after Dundalk Win

Arsenal won their second Europa League group game as they got past Dundalk. One of the goal scorers was Nicolas Pepe and Mikel Arteta had some words of advice for the winger, per Metro.

The North London club initially found it a bit difficult to break down the Irish team’s defence, but gradually got into the game. Once Eddie Nketiah broke the deadlock, it quickly led to Joe Willock doubling the North Londoners’ lead.

Jose Mourinho Slams his Spurs Side after Europa League Upset

Tottenham travelled to Belgium to take on Royal Antwerp tonight, but could not get a result as they lost 1-0. Speaking to Sky Sports after the match, Jose Mourinho criticised the players for not taking their chance.

Spurs came into the game on the back of a two-match winning streak and looked to establish their lead in the group. But things did not go to plan as they suffered a defeat to the Belgian side.

Iowa Hawkeyes vs Northwestern Wildcats Game Preview, Prediction

The Northwestern Wildcats will play at the Iowa Hawkeyes on Saturday, much like they did in the last serious global pandemic year, 1918. This fact is quite significant as Iowa was the only Big Ten opponent that Northwestern, then known as the Purple, had who remains in the league today.
