Chelsea FC Starting XI Prediction vs Bayern Munich

Chelsea FC really have their work cut out for them if they’re going to advance through to the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals. They have a really tough draw in Bayern Munich, who are competing in their 23rd UCL. Only FC Barcelona and Real Madrid (both 24) have been here more often.

The Bavarian giants, knocked out of the competition last season by Liverpool, have won their grouping 16 times, and they’re defending their Bundesliga title at home. As for Chelsea, they find themselves in a tough battle domestically to stay in the top four while looking to advance deeper in the UCL. Here’s what we’re guessing Blues boss Frank Lampard might go with tomorrow night.

Chelsea FC vs Bayern Munich Team News: Pulisic, Hudson-Odoi, Martinez

Chelsea FC welcome Bayern Munich to Stamford Bridge tomorrow night for the UEFA Champions League round of 16 first-leg tie with the Bavarian giants. The last time the Bundesliga powerhouse visited London, well it was the infamous 7-2 thrashing of Tottenham Hotspur on October 1.

Don’t expect a result anything close to that on Tuesday, but Frank Lampard definitely has some fitness issues to worry about. He has already confirmed the absence of midfield maestro N’Golo Kante, who was forced out early in the loss to Manchester United, exactly one week ago, due to a groin injury.

Patrick Ewing Theory: How Alumni Icon Can Lead Georgetown to NCAA Tournament

We apologize in advance for having zero Patrick Ewing quotes in this article on Georgetown’s NCAA Tournament chances. Ewing appeared, very promptly, after his side lost 74-68 at DePaul Saturday night, and he accidentally knocked the table off the podium in the press conference room.

His entire session was only about 1:45 in duration and it consisted of just three Q&As. For what it’s worth, we have the full audio embedded for you below. As Bill Simmons wrote on page 413 of the Book of Basketball, “Ewing lacked charisma and may have been the most uncomfortable post merger interview other than Moses Malone.” That sentence seems fair.

Cristiano Ronaldo Inspired Him to Play for United, Says Bruno Fernandes

Cristiano Ronaldo is an inspiration  to Bruno Fernandes, and deservedly so. In May of 2018, Manchester United supporters named CR7 the club’s best player of the Premier League era, via a poll on the club website. Although Ronaldo hasn’t been with the club since 2009, and he’s switched teams not once, but twice since then, he still looms large at Old Trafford, and probably always will.

The Portugese galactico of all galacticos is now entering the twilight of his career, but he was still named the world’s most recognizable sports man by Forbes a couple of years ago.

West Ham United Starting XI Prediction, Team News at Liverpool FC

David Moyes was brought back to West Ham United with one main objective in mind- keep the Hammers up in the top flight. As of now they’re still in the drop zone, although they’re just one point behind Aston Villa for the final position of safety. Tonight they visit undefeated and league leading Liverpool, so the pressure will effectively be off for this match.

It’s the hardest match on the slate, and understandably the Irons are heavy underdogs in this one. The expectations are that Moyes can lead the south London club to points acquisition elsewhere.

Liverpool FC Starting XI Prediction, Team News vs West Ham United

liverpool fc anfield

Liverpool FC have a ton to play for tonight when they host lowly West Ham United. A victory here would see them equal Manchester City’s all-time record of winning 18 straight top-flight games. Unbeaten in their last 43 Premier League games, the Reds are highly favored to take all three points from this one.

Get a result here, as they are strongly expected to do against the league’s 18th place side, and that means the Merseyside club are just 10 matches away from an undefeated season. With the league title already long locked up, it’s the main goal Jurgen Klopp’s side has to play for in the domestic top flight.

Heat Guard, Former Illini Kendrick Nunn is a Remarkable Comeback Story

During NBA All-Star weekend, NBA TV ran an episode of a program called “Open Court,” which consisted of a panel of Chicago basketball legends discussing the greatest individual players to ever come out of the windy city. The panel included Isiah Thomas, Tim Hardaway, Mark Aguirre, Dwyane Wade and more.

When the conversation turned to current Chicagoans who are representing in the NBA, Kendrick Nunn, who represented the U.S. in the NBA All-Star Rising Stars Game was brought up. Not bad for a guy who was thrown out of the University of Illinois (deservedly so) and went un-drafted (obviously not deserved, as 30 NBA GMs whiffed on that one) in 2018.

DePaul SG Jalen Coleman-Lands on Past, Present and Basketball Future (Exclusive)

In a tight road loss to Georgetown on February 8, DePaul senior shooting guard Jalen Coleman-Lands eclipsed the 1,000 point plateau in his college career. Prior to tip-off of the Blue Demons’ blowout loss to #12 Villanova on Wednesday night, Coleman-Lands was honored with a brief ceremony commemorating the achievement.

DePaul Athletic Director Jean Lenti-Ponsetto and Head Coach Dave Leitao took part. “When you achieve a goal like that, you leave an indelible mark on this game that you’ve played for a long, long time,” Leitao said after the game.

Liverpool: What’s Behind The Rise of The Reds

liverpool fc anfield

Liverpool has undoubtedly become one of the strongest, if not the strongest, team on the planet right now. They have been absolutely unstoppable, and by all accounts, barring a truly once in a century collapse, you can bet that they will be lifting the Premier League trophy in a matter of weeks.

Jurgen Klopp and his team have done far more than just “get lucky”. They have been dominant, consistent, and almost freakishly good at what they do, and the 30 year year wait for a Premier League is all but over.

Arsenal FC Starting XI Prediction vs Everton FC

Arsenal hosts Everton tomorrow in a match-up of two sides that had a very rough start to the season, but maybe, just maybe, could be getting it together now. Arsenal trounced Newcastle United last weekend, and Mikel Arteta won his European debut as Arsenal head coach, winning at Olympiacos on Thursday night.

They will take an Everton side that was sitting in the relegation zone under Marco Silva, but have been revitalized under veteran boss Carlo Ancelotti, who has them back in contention for Europe. The Toffees are unbeaten in the Premier League since the first of the year.

Arsenal vs Everton Team News: Mari, Torreira, Gomes, Walcott

Tomorrow afternoon sees Arsenal FC hosting Everton in a match that has major implications on the UEFA Europa League qualification race. If the Gunners can acquire a vital three points from this match, it would then propel them ahead of the Toffees in the Premier League table, putting them back in the race for a UEL spot.

If the Manchester City ban is upheld upon appeal, it would mean that the fifth place team goes to the Champions League and the seventh place side would be in the UEL. Thus more teams in mid table have more to play for right now, so with that in mind, let’s go through the team news, starting with the hosts.

Marquee Sports Network Debuts Today, Cubs Fan Backlash Strengthens

We’re just hours away now from the start of the Chicago Cubs exhibition season, so you now what that means? Time to like cable carriage fees! And broadcasting license agreements! All that fun stuff that Cubs fans typically associate with the start of spring training games.

We’re joking of course, but this is the world we live in, as Marquee Sports Network commences broadcasting, mere minutes from now. As it stands, Marquee Sports Network STILL has no deal in place with Comcast or Xfinity, and that’s just the start of a long list of service providers who have not reached agreement with MSN. It’s easier and shorter to just run through the list of who is hooked up at this point. And for convenience, here is where you can get Marquee, if any of these are your service provider.
