Pogba was a victim of online racial abuse, and the club issued a statement denouncing the actions of racist social media trolls. Some United players made public statements in support of Pogba as well.

Liverpool FC Starting XI Prediction vs Arsenal FC

liverpool

Liverpool currently sit atop the table in the Premier League, with their opponents on Saturday, Arsenal, right behind them in second place. It’s a match-up of the only two teams in the Premier League to win both of their games this young season.

In order to make it three wins from three matches, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp would be best served by not tweaking his lineup too much. The German should, and likely will, leave the same attack and back line in place from the win at Southampton last weekend.

Romelu Lukaku Claims United Scapegoated and Failed to Protect Him

Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku had been taking subtle swipes at his former employer, Manchester United, softly sparking a flame to the bridge behind him. Then Big Rom went on the LightHearted podcast, and absolutely dropped a nuclear bomb on that bridge.

Lukaku said that he, along with fellow forward Alexis Sanchez and midfielder Paul Pogba, were unjustly scapegoated for United’s inability to get results.

Chelsea FC Starting XI Prediction at Norwich City

Is there a man in football in bigger need of a win right now than Chelsea FC manager Frank Lampard? Is there any individual footballer in need of a massive individual performance than Christian Pulisic- the only major signing Chelsea was able to make in 2019?

Life after Eden Hazard has proven to be as hard and the most pessimistic Blues fans have imagined. There is certainly some degree of panic in the Chelsea supporter base right now, both over Lampard/the general direction of the club and whether Pulisic will reach his potential or not with the Blues. Chelsea FC Team News vs Norwich: Rudiger, Willian, Hudson-Odoi, Loftus-Cheek

willian

It’s the fourth match of the season for Chelsea FC, but they’re still looking for win number one. Up next is a trip to Carrow Road, where they’ll face newly promoted Norwich City. It’s as good an opportunity as any to finally break into the win column.

There’s a lot of heat on both manager Frank Lampard and $73 million January signing Christian Pulisic. Right now some Blues supporters are wondering if Lampard might actually regress the club back to the pre-Roman Abramovich era. There is also concern over whether Pulisic will ever live up to the hype or not.

How will Chelsea FC Handle the Eden Hazard Void?

eden hazard

It certainly would not be hyperbole to state that Eden Hazard formed the heart and soul of Chelsea’s forward line. In the 2018-19 season, he led the club’s scoring charts. With 16 goals and 15 assists in the 2018-19 season, he spearheaded the club’s forward line, sometimes almost single-handedly.

Pedro was the club’s next best goalscorer. He scored eight goals and recorded two assists. This speaks volumes about the team’s over-reliance on Eden Hazard.
