Tottenham Hotspur stepped up to have a once in a lifetime season in 2015-16. Chelsea collapsed to have a once in a lifetime horrible defense of their league title. Spurs weren’t able to catch Leicester City down the stretch, and as of today, the Foxes are now Premier League Champions.
Spurs needed a win to keep their faint title hopes alive, but couldn’t get it done, as they choked away a 2-0 lead against their London rivals; finishing in a 2-2 draw with the Blues. Upon conclusion of the match, the two teams went at each other.
Things got quite physical! Check out the video below:

Chelsea Interim Manager Guus Hiddink, who made some harshly condescending remarks about Tottenham before the game, was knocked down in the melee that ensued near the tunnel.
This wasn’t the only fracas in the match. Mousa Dembele eye-gouged Diego Costa. See the video of that incident over at this link.

What an embarrassing, disgusting way for this game to end. These two sides obviously don’t like each other very much and this rivalry certainly got kicked up a notch tonight. It was interesting to see Chelsea show so much fight here, as they didn’t really show all that much fight this season.
