Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly ready to match the £25 million release clause belonging to Antoine Griezmann. This is an effort to try and beat Chelsea and Monaco to the signing of the Real Sociedad winger.
The Telegraph understands that Tottenham are willing to improve their bid to meet Griezmann’s buy-out clause, but Chelsea and Monaco may also be prepared to do the same.
Just last month, towards the beginning of it, Paris St. Germain were rumored to supposedly leading the Antoine Griezmann race over three Premier League giants: Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United in a £25 million derby for the French star. The Real Sociedad ace has been gossiped about leaving for sometime according to reports from Diario Vasco. The French winger earned rave reviews for his performances in La Liga over the course of the past few seasons, and he’s also been a Manchester United target for some time.
