Again we’re doing a story/interview podcast about football; world football and American football. Northwestern Wide Receiver and Tottenham Hotspur supporter Christian Jones had to sit out the 2014 college football season due to an ACL injury. But he’s back and revved up to go for 2015!
American college football preseason began today with Big Ten Media Days. The real season begins September 4th when Northwestern hosts Stanford. As for Tottenham Hotspur, they visit Manchester United to open the Premier League a week from today.
The last time we spoke with Christian Jones, we talked Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen, the benefits of Europa League and how he became a Tottenham supporter. (Go here to have a listen to that Christian Jones podcast)
Today, when we revisited with Jones we covered the summer transfer window and how things have changed for Spurs and the top end of the Premier League table. Jones sees United and Chelsea as the favorites to win the title, with Manchester City, Tottenham and Arsenal fighting it out for the last two Champions League spots.
