Ahhhh, the Europa League, everyone’s favorite European tournament. Kidding of course. As much as we all make fun of this B Team tournament, today’s match between Tottenham Hotspur and Tripoli FC gave us what could be the best goal of year thus far. It comes from Spurs Erik Lamela.
The 22-year-old Argentine wrapped his left leg around his right and curled the ball into the right-hand corner from the edge of the box, in an early contender for goal of the season. Have a look see below:

Wow Erik Lamela!!! Just Wow!!! it was the second goal of the day as Tottenham would go on to rout Tripoli 5-1. Maybe Erik Lamela, Mauricio Pochettino and company can get some of that mojo to carry over to their Premier League fixtures. We’ll see.
