“Made with 100% Recycled Material”

By Paul M. Banks

-Make sure you have the audio up on both of these…….don’t know how they acquired the video of the first one, but it’s pretty funny that they did, especially the curly haired blonde who decided it was ok to change clothes in the middle of attending a Cubs game. No wonder Reds announcer Marty Brenneman has been so critical of Cub fans recently.

-For more Obama and Jay-Z, and a perfect explanation of why the debate was just too worthless to watch, check out this clip. I’ve heard many complaints from many different people about how ABC and the Washington elite looked extremely pathetic in the debate…perhaps now the mainstream media and the powers that be are done trying to dumb us down? Perhaps it’s a tipping point.

-The best overall Barack related video, might be “Baracky: the Movie,” which stars Obama as Rocky, Hillary as Apollo and Ted Kennedy as Mickey

-An Earthquake struck Illinois for the first time since 1968 this past week. But the real natural disaster occurred in fall and winter: the Chicago Bears, Bulls, and Blackhawks seasons. After the long winter of discontented losing, the current baseball scene (Cubs- 1st place, White Sox-first place, Kane County Cougars 14-2, best record in all of MILB) seems that much more sweet and deserving, doesn’t it?

….but not the types of Cubs fans who bought this racist t-shirt. Bigotry like this doesn’t make Cubs fans

-Here’s something surreal or creepy or weird or awful or something I’m not quite sure how to describe just yet: Celine Dion singing AC/DC:

-Ever walk past a mirror at a club on a Saturday night and get “beer goggles” for yourself? I often do. And I often get called names by people thinking I’m strange for doing so. But this dog seems to experience the same phenomena that I do.

-Danica Patrick became the first woman to ever win an Indy Car Series race this past weekend. That means I’m obligated to display her picture. Quite a chore indeed.

Earth Day is Tuesday April 22nd, and many Earth Day events are happening this weekend! Not sure yet how you’ll be celebrating Earth Day? Find an event near you on the Earth Day website. Hundreds of Earth Day events including the Sunday concert on the National Mall in Washington DC, special Earth Day film screenings and festivals, and campus Earth Day celebrations will be showing selections from the Live Earth Film Series.

This week, President Bush talked about global warming in the Rose Garden. Newt Gingrich and Nancy Pelosi — past and present Speakers of the House — are talking about it in our latest ad that aired yesterday. On Tuesday, Oprah Winfrey will talk about it on her show. People are talking about it in lunchrooms, classrooms and the halls of Congress. We need more people to join in these conversations so we can turn the talk into results. We’re already more than a million strong. If each of us gets five more friends to push for global warming solutions, together we’ll be a powerful voice that will be impossible to ignore.

  4. If you want bad AC/DC covers of You Shook Me (All Night Long) try this. At least she’s better looking than Celine the dinosaur.

She’d look even better in this Get Fuked Up! T-Shirt at http://since1908clothing.com/Buy_Since_1908_Tshirts.html. I’d get Fuked Up with her, even if she sang that god-awful rendition of a R & R Classic.
