Pour out some gin and juice! For rizeal, the most famous resident of the LBC, Snoop D-O-double G, is coming to Evanston to officially open izup Northwestern Wildcat Basketball season.
Fans are invited to be in the hizzle for SPAC on Friday, Oct. 15 5:30 p.m. to check out the teams at the inaugural Friday Night Hoops. Meet the team, hear from the coaches, watch the players scrimmage, judge the dunk contest and be a part of the action. The event is free and open to the public.
And Later that evening in Welsh-Ryan Arena, A&O Productions proudly presents Snoop Dogg & Kid Cudi for the A&O Blowout 2010. Tickets go on sale online for $15 for Northwestern undergraduates this Friday, Oct. 1 at 10:30 a.m. on the Norris Box Office online system.
Tickets will go on sale Monday, Oct. 4 for graduate students, faculty, and staff for $20.
Shuttles to the A&O Fall Blowout will be picking up right outside of SPAC, so students with a ticket will be able to head straight over to the show after Friday Night Hoops. Plus, students with a ticket to the concert can win floor seats at Friday Night Hoops and free pizza will be served at SPAC (while supplies last).
Again, the event at SPAC is free and open to the public, but people must have a ticket to the Snoop concert and a WildCARD to board the shuttles to Welsh-Ryan Arena afterward.
I have to admit, I never thought the day would come when the man who’s “slim with the tilted brim,” and purveyor of the musical genre R&G, “Rhythm and Gangsta” would be rocking the house that Evan Eschmeyer built.
Ok, I know Welsh-Ryan was around long before Eschmeyer ever set foot in it, but you get the joke.
