Shout out to our Readers in Canada, Costa Rica, Phillippines

TRISH-STRATUS

While the “U.S. and A,” as Kazakh journalist Borat Sagdiev would say, provides over 2/3 of our readership here at The Sports Bank. This, according to web information company Alexa. There are three additional countries in which TSB ranks at or near the top 100,000. To be in the top 100,000 is a great goal because Alexa ranks EVERY site, up to like 60,000,000 or so. Therefore to be just outside the top 100,000 in the U.S. is pretty good.

But there are three nations where we rank even higher than domestically. We break it down after the jump

CANADIAN_HOTTIE

3rd highest nation CANADA

Since hockey is king in Canada, I’m guessing the hometown team, the Chicago Blackhawks winning the Stanley Cup, had a lot to do with our high ranking on Canadian internet soil. I’m sure our NHL Mock Drafts do very well in the Great White North too. Remember, we are THE FIRST non-mainstream media site, the first independently owned sports site to have a mock draft for all four sports.

NICOLE-SCHERZINGER

2nd highest nation PHILLIPPINES

I have no idea what sports are big in Phillipines, so I can’t even begin to explain our appeal there. You may also be asking why did you put a picture of Nicole Scherzinger, lead singer of the Pussy Cat Dolls up there? She’s from Hawaii and attended Wright St. University. but she’s also half-Filipina.

COSTA-RICAN_HOTTIE

#1 COSTA RICA

In Costa Rica, soccer is King, and we have plenty of soccer coverage here, both the Chicago Fire and the World Cup. We also have had two exclusives with Costa Rican member of the Fire Gonzalo Segares. Follow this link here to enjoy!

Thoughtful and interesting, thank you. I was brought up in the philipines but moved to england at such a young age I barely remember anything apart from the delicious food. I finally found some authentic Filipino recipes if you want to take a look, I thought I’d share it with you!
