Lindsey Vonn could return to skiiing later this month; showing that she’s made a full recovery from her gruesome leg injury. How gruesome? Look at the picture Lindsey Vonn Instagrammed back when it happened.
Ugh! Nasty I know.
Let’s shift back to pictures highlighting the beauty of Lindsey Vonn. (By the way, if you’re looking for anything Tiger Woods related in this Lindsey Vonn posting, you’re out of luck, as 1.) very much not interested in relationship gossip 2.) I hate the corporation-disguised-as-a-person that is Tiger Woods.
Lindsey Vonn may race in the opening World Cup of the season, an Oct. 26 giant slalom in Soelden, Austria.
Vonn tore the anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments in her right knee and broke the upper end of a right leg bone when she lost control and crashed midway through the Feb. 5 super-G, at the world championships.
She underwent surgery five days later. Best of luck to her as she takes the first step toward Sochi 2014. Which will get here a lot faster than you might think.
“I feel physically 100 percent,” Lindsey Vonn told the AP. “Now it’s a matter of kind of breaking into the unknown. I haven’t pushed myself to 100 percent race form.”
