Ohio State CB Bradley Roby will possibly be suspended

Ohio State cornerback Bradley Roby will have a short leash according to Urban Meyer. And a suspension is likely. Roby, a junior who was an afterthought recruit from the same high school as former Buckeyes DL Cameron Heyward, was arrested in Bloomington, Indiana on July 21st and faces preliminary charges of battery resulting in bodily injury.

He was “asked to leave the bar after a disturbance, refused, and was subdued by bouncers at the bar before being taken into custody.”

2012 Ohio State Buckeyes football: first two deep roster

osu-hotty

The first official two-deep chart of the Urban Meyer coaching era at Ohio State was revealed today as Meyer presented it to a room of more than 40 reporters covering the news at the Woody Hayes Athletics Center.

With 18 starters returning from last season including both kickers, there are plenty of familiar names on the two-deep chart, including fourth-year starting fullback Zach Boren and three-year starters Jake Stoneburner (tight end), John Simon (defensive line) and C.J. Barnett (safety).

Convicted sex offender Buckeyes fan exposed by Ohio St. blog

waugh

On Friday, THE Ohio State University sent out a letter via it’s school paper The Lantern warning athletes about a convicted repeat child sex offender, and to watch who they associate with in social media.

Since then, the pervert in question Charles Eric Waugh, has violated his probation (which could very likely lead to jail this time) and the #4 rated recruit in Pennsylvania de-committed from OSU (and possibly could enroll at Notre Dame) when this sleazebag was exposed.

And the reporting that led to this creep’s downfall? Not from ESPN or the MSM, but a Buckeyes blog!

Ohio St. Athletes warned of Pedophile Buckeyes superfan

waugh

Maybe sex offender with multiple convictions Charles Eric Waugh would fit in better at Penn State? The Ohio State Buckeyes fan has a Twitter page had a Twitter page which has since been deleted, voicing his proud allegiance to OSU, but considering his criminal history of possessing child pornography, maybe he should be a Nittany Lions fan.

Then again, I’ve met plenty of creepy Buckeye fans too. Penn State University may be the lowest form of life in the Big Ten, but OSU isn’t that all far behind. Making fun of the sliminess of both fan bases is just too easy.

Five dumbest things ever said by Ohio St. President E. Gordon Gee

gordon-gee

As you can see from the picture above, Ohio State University President E. Gordon Gee looks like a COMPLETE BUFFOON! Whenever he opens his mouth he only confirms what we suspect. I really can’t wait until this bowtied moron gets his come-uppance. I thought it would come, along with Athletic Director Gene Smith last summer during all the Terrelle Pryor-Jim Tressel scandal in Columbus.

Well, hopefully it comes soon as Capt. foot in mouth disease struck again yesterday. Man, don’t you just want to punch people wearing bowties in the face?

Ohio St. Lands Top 5 Class, Bret Bielema Calls Out Urban Meyer’s Tactics

Urban Meyer

Urban Meyer’s first recruiting class at Ohio State is ranked 3rd or 4th in the nation, depending on who you ask. So much for being hurt by NCAA sanctions/the stain of Jim Tressel/Terrelle Pryor corruption. Meyer’s recruiting class and alleged lack of class has caught the attention of Wisconsin head coach Bret Bielema.

The Badgers leader was asked Wednesday if he thought Meyer would change recruiting in the Big Ten and Bielema had some choice quotes. From CBS Chicago:

Urban Meyer Statement on Ohio State Bowl Ban

Ohio-State-logo

For all you BUCKNUTS out there, today was judgment day. The NCAA’s committee on infractions handed down its final sanctions on the storied college football program at 3 p.m. EST today.

The Ohio State Buckeyes will be bowl ineligible for 2012; and as such will also not be able to participate in the Big Ten title game. Kind of like USC this year.

Ohio State Campus Visited by Porn Legend Ron Jeremy (Photo)

ron_jeremy_osu

Here’s a photo you’ll just go BUCKNUTS! over. The Ohio State University has what looks like it could be the top team in all of college basketball, as their Buckeyes utterly dismantled the Duke Blue Devils Tuesday night. And on the Thursday, the top male porn star in history, Ron Jeremy made an appearance at the Panda Express; campus location.

Why was this 58-year-old Jewish man from Queens (who was in the same high school graduating class as former CIA Director George Tenet by the way) in Columbus? I have no idea.

#2 Ohio State (ment) Game: Buckeyes Crush #4 Duke 85-63

Jared-Sullinger

In the transition from 2010 to 2011, the Ohio State Buckeyes lost Evan Turner, the man who swept all the national college basketball player of the year awards, but got better. Last year they were the tournament’s overall #1 seed, lost a couple key guys this offseason, but may be better this year than they were last year. They certainly looked the part Tuesday night.

This was supposed to be the Big Ten/ACC Challenge heavyweight title fight. Instead it was a laugher, as OSU scored the first 13, and ran away with it long before halftime. Duke never led, and instead suffered one of the worst November beatings in the history of the school. This was no doubt one of the worst losses of the Coach K. era.

Jared Sullinger had a game-high 21 points (and eight rebounds) for the Buckeyes. It is the 41st time he has scored in double figures in his career. Aaron Craft had 17 points and eight assists. But the name which started to become household in this one is Deshaun Thomas, who had 18 points. It is the 17th time in his young career and sixth consecutive that he has scored in double figures. A highly rated recruit who got lost in the shuffle last year, he’s playing a very prominent role for the Bucks this year.

“Everything kind of fell into place for him (Thomas). He had a couple of nice drives and open threes, which got him into a rhythm. The last play of the first half, the out of bounds play, was huge – we literally put that in at practice today and it gave us all the momentum going into the break. He just has a knack for finding shots,” OSU Coach Thad Matta said of Deshaun Thomas’ performance after game.

Ohio State has now defeated two AP Top 10 non-conference opponents at home this season for the first time in history. They are 3-3 all-time vs. Duke and 38-26 all-time vs. the ACC. Ohio St. moved to 5-5 in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge with four-consecutive wins. As a ranked team, the Buckeyes are 402-108 overall and when ranked in the AP Top 10, the Buckeyes are 280-59.

NBA players Evan Turner, Mike Conley, Greg Oden, Lebron James and Dwyane Wade were all in attendance at this game.

“I thought Ohio State played a great game against us. They were a fresher team; I thought our team played tired. They are very athletic, together and they played with a great verve. Obviously they are deserving of the win, but they were a lot fresher than we were. We could never get into the ballgame,” Duke Coach Mike Krzyzewski said.

Penn State Actually Believed Urban Meyer was Coming to Them

penn st. logo

Urban Meyer to Ohio State was a done deal long before it was announced yesterday. In Columbus, it was public knowledge in about Late September to early October. Yet, people who live in the Penn State bubble actually believed Meyer would come to this program, even after the pedophile scandal broke, and the sky fell in on the program. Sure, many more denizens of Creepy Valley believed he was coming to PSU before the Sandusky news broke than after. But this headline from Penn Live.com shows you just how delusional and insulated so many people in PSU nation really are.

Penn State Beats Ohio State in “Scandal Bowl;” Tom Bradley’s 1st W

tom bradley

Interim Penn State Head Coach Tom Bradley told the media at his postgame press conference:

“This win isn’t about me; it’s about the players and this team. I don’t think any team in the history of college football has been through so much in such a time period and to hang in there and fight their way through it is great.”

And to some extent he has a point, the players are pretty much collateral damage in the Penn State scandal; they are made to suffer somewhat though they have done no wrong on their own. However, to a larger, more relevant extent: Mr. Bradley, would you like some cheese with that whine? Boo Effing Hoo, now is not the time to try and elicit sympathy for you and your bunch.

There are bigger issues and vastly more victimized people to think about right now.

Bradley has not come off very well in most of his media appearances since the scandal broke. If anything, he comes off almost as delusional and stuck in the insulated, egocentric PSU bubble as Paterno, Schultz, Curley et al.

But he did get his first win as Penn State Head Coach today.
