jessica_szohr

Actress Jessica Szohr, famous for her role on “Gossip Girl”  is supposedly the new main squeeze of the leader of the Packers. So much for the rumored Aaron Rodgers homosexual affair with his former trainer. For the week leading up to and after New Year’s, the entire world of web search users acted as if the possibility of Aaron Rodgers being gay was the most important thing in the history of humanity.

Well, Jessica Szohr has something to say about that. Or at least the publicist of Jessica Szohr does.

Why do so many people think Aaron Rodgers is gay?

Update: prominent website claims evidence that will confirm Aaron Rodgers gay rumors.

There are times when Aaron Rodgers looks like he might the best player in all of football. Not just the best QB, but the best NFL player alive.

And as usual, every time Aaron Rodgers is on national television, I look at this site’s traffic stats and I see two phrases “Aaron Rodgers Gay” and “Is Aaron Rodgers Gay?” driving more traffic to TSB. During the postseason these search numbers increased, peaking when the Green Bay Packers were in the Super Bowl; of course.

NFC North: Best Division in the NFL? Yeah Probably

Our good friends (and web traffic ranking twins) over at Real Clear Sports have a wonderful feature where they average all the major power rankings for the NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB each week. They accumulate and average the rankings from 8 major media power rankings and the findings show that the Upper Midwest is ruling football right now.

Yes, it’s just week one, and power rankings are extremely subjective in nature- but the NFC North had the most impressive showing in the rankings thus far. Remember the NFL has no BcS.

The only other division that came even close was the AFC East.

Packers Aaron Rodgers Sports Wild Wild West Cowboy Mustache

When you’re the Super Bowl MVP, I guess you can dress and monitor your facial hair in any manner that you deem fit. Yes, being top dog in the NFL, and “the man” at the most high profile position in all of sports afford you a ton of social capital. That’s the only explanation I have for Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, and his handle bar mustache.

Take a look at the pic below

Link Bank 2-9-11: Minka Kelly, Jessica Szohr, Aaron Rodgers

minka-kelly

-Minka Kelly has the #1 grossing movie in America this past week. Proving that no matter where we are, or what we’re doing, we’ll always stop to watch a catfight.

-Kelly also partied with Jessica Szohr lately, who showed up with a dude other than her supposed boyfriend Aaron Rodgers. But he’s a Super Bowl MVP now- so he can easily trade up.

-Why do hundreds and hundreds of people search online everyday for “Aaron Rodgers gay” and/or “Is Aaron Rodgers gay”? This has been going on for months; so if you have any links with credible evidence verifying or discrediting this rumor- please email those links to the site.

-I don’t believe this “rumor,”  but if you saw the film “Valentine’s Day” (yes, yes I actually sat through that..start assaulting my manhood now) you might remember the star QB coming out, and how much it helped the sports journalist played by Jamie Foxx.

Green Bay Packers Are 2011 Super Bowl Champions

The Lombardi Trophy is returning to Green Bay as the Packers defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 31-25 in Super Bowl XLV. It’s the Packers fourth Super Bowl victory and 13th overall championship.

Welcome Aaron Rodgers to the class of NFL’s elite quarterbacks because his 304 yards and three touchdowns couldn’t have been on a bigger stage or against a better defense. For his historic performance, Rodgers was named Super Bowl MVP.

As expected, the battle between the league’s two most historic and storied franchises was a thriller to the end. Fitting that the Packers came out on top after persevering through some costly injuries and mental miscues, much like they  did during the regular season.

The Milwaukee Bucks 91-81 defeat of the New Jersey Nets marked the return of point guard Brandon Jennings, but it was Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers and Milwaukee Brewers All-Star Ryan Braun who received a standing ovation.

From A Bears Fan’s Perspective…

I had to work today. Until 7:30.

I made a decision early on that I would try to work through my shift and not find out what happened.

Somehow, beyond all odds, I made it through without finding out what happened.

I have to be honest though, had someone told me what happened…I wouldn’t have believed them. [Read more…]

Packers Stun Bears En Route to Super Bowl

Similar to the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears ugly match-up in week 17, someone had to win the NFC Championship. After three quarters of stifling defense and a riveting fourth quarter, the Packers edged out the Bears 21-14 to become the second-ever #6 seed to make the Super Bowl.

Super Bowl XLV will mark the Packers fifth overall appearance in the biggest game of them all. In that game, they will be vying for their fourth Lombardi Trophy.

It may be hard to fathom, but it wasn’t Aaron Rodgers or Clay Matthews who stole the headlines this Sunday. It was a couple of rookies in CB Sam Shields, P Tim Masthay and second-year DT B.J. Raji who came through in the clutch to send their team to Dallas.
