2012 NFL Mock Draft 1-10-12

The Indianapolis Colts have secured the #1 pick, and more news this week further reiterates that the drafting of Andrew Luck to Indy is a done deal. We made quite a few changes this week, and added a second round to this mock draft for the first time in 2011-12! Here it is.

The Indianapolis Colts drafting of Andrew Luck is still set in stone despite what you may have heard Peyton Manning say about his conversations or non-conversations with the front office. Not only are they a runaway favorite in the “Suck for Luck” sweepstakes, but Luck made it official a couple days ago that he is coming out this year!

Not only are they a runaway favorite in the “Suck for Luck” sweepstakes, but official word is coming out now that Luck to Indy is a done deal.  (Pro Football Zone) And AS I CALLED IT BACK IN SEPTEMBER, Peyton Manning will retire. Suck For Luck Sweepstakes’ New Front-Runner: Indy Colts

Stanford QB supreme/BMOC Andrew Luck has made it clear how stupid he believes the “suck for Luck” campaign is. And I’m not sure how much I’ll ever believe that NFL teams are really even intentionally sucking in order to take the most sought after signal caller in college football.

I think the sucking just comes naturally. That said, we were among the first to explore this concept back in the offseason. Here’s our initial study in June.

But a lot has changed since then so let’s look at who’s #1 in the race for the #1 pick in the NFL Draft derby.
