Jenn Brown: Erin Andrews ESPN Successor?

I’ve been saying this for about a year or so. And it looks like it will soon become true: Jenn Brown is the next Erin Andrews. It will be made official once EA declares that she is pursuing free agency. The ESPN sideline princess baton will be passed from one 32 year old former Florida Gator to a 29 year old former Florida Gator. Jennifer “Jenn” Lynne Brown, is likely heading over to the scorers table and signing in.

Lebron, D Wade, Bosh, and Joe Johnson aren’t the only big sports names hitting the open market July 1.

According to USA Today:

Her {Erin Andrews} final assignment as ESPN’s college sports sideline reporter before her contract expires will be coverage of the College World Series starting Saturday. She says she’s weighing everything from hosting to reporting: “I definitely know sports is in there, is in the mix.”

Andrews says her preference is to stay in sports once her ESPN contract expires July 1. But she won’t “close the door” on entertainment opportunities.

The report also mentions how Andrews has received multiple offers in the worlds of both entertainment and sports, so all those people who said the stalking incident would ruin her career…are just complete morons. I said that then and I’ll say it now.

When the ordeal occurred, EA herself said that her career would be ruined, so she must have been either a.) just still in shock and had no clue what she was talking about or b.) lying to just get more sympathy, which she knew down the line would increase her market leverage.

So if reports are true and Andrews walks, the Mothership seems to have the perfect heiress ready to step right in. It was pretty apparent from Brown’s College Gameday appearances, and NFL Draft night when Andrews was at Jimmy Clausen’s house and Brown was at Colt McCoy’s crib, who the world wide leader had in mind. And Deadspin seems to agree with this idea.

And it’s not Wendi Nix, although she is pretty fine looking herself.
