A native of Roscoe, Illinois, and former Miss Illinois Teen USA, Nicole Briscoe, previously known as Nicole Manske, and today sometimes known as Nicole Manske Briscoe but most commonly referred to as Nicole Briscoe graduated from Hononegah High School in 1998. She and future auto racer/sports advertising megabrand Danica Patrick were cheerleaders on the same squad together in 1996.
Nicole got a lot of national media coverage when she started co-hosting The Speed Report on Speed Channel as well as hosting NASCAR Now on ESPN2. She also hosts NASCAR Countdown that airs on ESPN before NASCAR races.
Nicole Briscoe competed in the Miss Teen USA pageant in August 1998. Nicole Briscoe was a semi-finalist in the pageant, placing third (of 10) in the evening gown competition, seventh in swimsuit and tenth in interview (isn’t that ironic, a broadcaster finishing last), placing her eighth overall on average. Two years after passing on her title to the next Miss Teen USA she competed in the Miss Illinois USA 2001 pageant and placed first runner-up to Rebecca Ambrosi.
Oh and about her name change, how Nicole Manske became Nicole Briscoe. In December of 2009, Nicole married her boyfriend of 4 years, IndyCar series driver Ryan Briscoe.
